What the free trial includes

Length and minutes
The trial starts when your clinic account is created. It includes 30 minutes of calls. You can use it for 14 days, or until the 30 minutes are used up, whichever comes first.
Each test call you make with Speak with Agent uses trial minutes, like a real call.
There’s one free trial per person: if you create a second clinic account, it starts without a trial.
To follow your trial:
- At the bottom of the menu on the left, just above your name: the minutes used, and Trial expires with the end date.
- On Subscription, on the Usage tab: the Free Trial card shows your trial minutes and the day the trial ends. Minutes Remaining shows the minutes used so far.
What you can and can’t do during the trial
You can set up your AI agent and try it yourself from your computer. See Trying your AI agent yourself.
Until you choose a plan, you can’t:
- Get a phone number. On Phone Numbers, the Purchase Number and Import Number tabs are locked, and you can’t choose an AI agent for a number. So patients can’t call your AI agent yet. The locked tab has an Upgrade Subscription button that takes you to Subscription.
- Open the Billing Portal. The Billing Portal is a secure page run by our payment provider, where you manage your card and invoices. Its button appears on Subscription once you have a paid plan.
- Use Evals. Practice tests for your AI agent show in the menu, under Evals, once you have a paid plan.
When the trial ends or its minutes run out
- Speak with Agent and Chat turn grey, and you can’t start a new test. Point at the button to see why: your trial minutes are used up, or your subscription has expired.
- After the 14 days, Minutes Remaining on the Subscription page shows Trial Expired, and the bottom of the menu shows Trial expired.
- There’s no free plan after the trial. To keep using AlloMia, choose a plan (see below).
Emails about your trial
These emails go to the person who created the clinic account, at the email address they sign in with:
- “Your trial is ending soon”: about 4 days before the trial ends. Its button takes you to our contact page, if you want to talk to our sales team.
- “Your AlloMia trial has ended”: on the day the trial ends. It asks you to choose a plan. To do it, sign in to AlloMia and go to Subscription.
If you choose a plan before the end, these emails aren’t sent. No email is sent when the 30 minutes run out.
Choose a plan
You can choose a plan at any time during the trial, or after it ends.
- In the menu on the left, under Organization, click Subscription.
- On the Usage tab, click Change Plan on the Free Trial card.
- Choose Monthly or Annual, then click Select Plan on the plan you want.
- On the secure payment page, enter your card and your clinic’s billing address, then confirm the payment.
- Back on Subscription, your plan shows Active. Your trial ends right away, and you can now get a phone number.
Trial minutes you didn’t use aren’t added to your plan. To learn more, see Choosing or changing your plan.
If something goes wrong
- The Usage Information box says your trial includes 10 minutes: that’s a mistake on the screen. Your trial includes 30 minutes.
- Speak with Agent is grey, but the 14 days aren’t over: your 30 trial minutes are used up. Choose a plan to keep testing.
- You don’t see Subscription in the menu: your plan is handled for you. Contact the company that set up AlloMia for your clinic, or AlloMia support at support@allomia.com.
- You created a second clinic account and it has no trial: that’s normal. Each person gets one free trial. Choose a plan for the new clinic account, or contact us.
